
Key Achievements Marietta City Council First Term (2022–2025)
- Youth & Education: Launched the City Youth Academy, mentoring 8th–12th grade students; expanded literacy programs benefiting over 125 students.
- Infrastructure & Public Safety: Championed over $250,000 in improvements, including upgraded street signage and new traffic signals.
- Community Engagement & Governance: Organized quarterly town halls, served as Chair of the Public Service and Finance Committee Leadership, and played a key role in city leadership.
- Neighborhood Advocacy: Defended historic neighborhoods from disruptive development while ensuring responsible growth.
- Early Literacy Public art initiative (2025): Spearheaded an 18ft x 50ft mural to promote early literacy at the corner of Lemon & Cole St. (July 24 estimated completion.
- Supported early literacy program at Hugh Grogan PAL Program by providing funding to hire two reading specialist for the past 3 years (2023 - 2025).
